I lost my sound after reinstalling win98
I need drivers for Turtle Beachs pci multimedia audio device i have a dell computer. Plz mail them to if you have them.
If you cant help me wiht the drivers maybe you can help too see which model my soundcard is.

You will need to know exactly which turbeach card you have. You may need to pull it out of your computer so you can read all the little labels. Once you have an idea which card you have, go here:

I'm in the same position after I formated and went to win98... sadly I can't seem to find any site that let me install these..
I got a creative labs soundcard I do believe... :/
[ESSDevice]

I've even formatted my computer C:\ drive after my Ghost was wrong. I installed Windows 98. Now, I don't got the files to use it!! I have an replacable harddisk, so I place the files to use my soundcard on a disk. I set the files in the I-think-right directory, and try to install it again. The computer says that he hasn't found any of that files. I want to know how I have to do this. If you can speak and write Dutch, please do that becose my English is not so fluently. Bye!

ok i also whiped my computer and reinstalled win 98, and i lost my sound. my audio card is a foxconn. thats all i know can you please help me find where i can download the drivers from?

I have all the files you guy's need, just email me and I'll email them over to you.

I had the same problem up until recently and I have been given the drivers by a friend who knows what he is doing, my system now sounds fine! I'd like to pass on the files to others that are in need so email me and I'll help you out.

I lost my sound after reinstalling win 98.
My computer detects the Device as "PCI Multimedia Audio Device".
I donot know how to see the model no or name of this.

So, how can I get the drivers for this,

hi,i too am missing the device driver after re-installing win98. if anyone at all has the driver pls email it to me (pogi_dogca@yahoo.ca). and i also have this little problem when my windows thingy loads . i recently deleted a program folder (access manager folder) from my c: drive and now when my windows loads it tries to load the driver for that program. it says that it may be in the windows.ini or windows registry but i have tried to find it and failed. so if you guys can help me with that it would be much appreciated.

I had the same problem after reformatting my pc. Luckily, i just got it fixed. If you're using a Creative device like me, you can go to Creative's website to download the drivers:www.creative.com
