What is the PCI Mass Storage Controller, and why can't I find driver's for it?
My computer now insists on running MS-DOS compatibility with my hard drive, the cause, I believe, of major problems with graphics in games.
In system properties, performance tab, it says: Compatibility-mode paging reduces overall system performance and Drive C is using MS-DOS compatibility mode file system.
All I have in the PCI slots is a USB card, ethernet card, Radeon 7000 AGP v-card, and sound card. No RAID.

Ideas?
Thanks!

Nope - it isn't going to affect the quality of the graphics...

Your mobo should have shipped with an appropriate set of chipset drivers - use them if Windows can't identify controller.

Check device manager for EXCLAMTION's if it is a driver problem then go to the manufacturer's website and download the appropiate drivers.
