I have W98. I had a virus a few weeks ago, and so i have cleaned my Pc and reinstalled w98. Since , i have a driver missing for PCI Mass Storage Controller .. & I do not know what this is used for ? please help thanks in advance

did you re-install the chipset drivers that come with the motherboard?? If you don't have them you can go to the motherboard manufacturer's site and download them.

Two posibilities: You might find the driver on your motherboard CD. Or it might be that you have an IDE controller card installed.
