PCI is not working

CPU/Ram: Intel Celeron 300 Mhz/164

a pci device (lucent modem) is not working on my m717 motherboard... it works on other computers.
i don't have any other pci devices installed on my computer(at least that's what i think)
please tell me what to do!

I'm not a fan of Lucent Winmodems, but have you tried movng it to another slot?

I have found that they either work or they don't in some computers. I have found that I wasted more time trying to get the thing to work that it was worth.

Like I said, I'm not a fan of this modem, so I suggest that if you can, get a different modem.
