Previous post.

The 'PCI multimedia audio device' is your sound card. Installing the drivers for it should set the card up properly. Windows Media Player should work then too.

The 'PCI input controller' is probably another hardware item that 98 doesn't recognize. It may be a modem, NIC card, USB card or even a motherboard item. You may be able to determine exactly what it is by seeing which of your known hardware items are already identified in device manager. Once you figure that out, installing the correct drivers should set it up too.

The PCI input device is probably the joystick controller that is part of your sound card. Installing the soundcard drivers will also fix this.

Update your chipset drivers if necessary. Unfortunately windows doesn't give a very detailed explanation of this 'PCI input controller' so it's hard to know exactly what it's referring to. Other than that just make sure you have all the drivers installed for your various hardware items.
