Hi, I have a Realtek RTL8029 Ethernet Adapter and I am having problems finding a driver for the PCI Ethernet Controller. The driver for the RTL8029 works, but the PCI Ethernet Controller does not detect. Can someone help me. Thanks

What pray tell, is an pci ethernet controller? And what doesn't it detect?? And why does it need a driver?? Oh, you get the idea.

I got the same problem with my Netgear FA311 10/100 nic card
I reformated my drive after I got a kernel32.dll error and it wouldn't boot up anymore.. now I have everything back up and running but am getting the same error.. "PCI ethernet controller" is having problems, I have the drivers for my NIC but I searched under windows 98se/95/ME and the driver disk that came with my NIC but my computer is still unable to detect it.. currently the ethernet controller shows up as "unknown device" in device manager :(
