When i did a clean install of 98 these drives were missing:
PCI Communication device
PCI Ethernet controller
PCI multimedia Audio deviceAnd on the card it was written:
MX
MX98715AEC
M0007
TA447801
37FEXI think that is the make of the card if it isnt p[lease tell me...
I just need the driver...

Get Belarc advisor fron www.belarc. com and install it. This will help you identify the components in your machine.

If Belarc advisor doesn't help ...
Take the cards out and inspect them for a manufacturer and model. If this is unsuccessful, try and find the fcc# and run a trace on it at http://www.fcc.gov/oet/fccid/
Then do a search for the driver.

That's the emachine 633ids right?
Those are your modem, LAN and sound cards and are probably available on one of the emachine sites. I'll see what I can find.

These are the modem, sound and video drivers:
The ethernet wasn't listed there and may be an add-on. You may need to post back more info on that card--model #, etc.
Install the other stuff first and see how that goes.

I'm assuming those downloads include the 98 drivers but I'm not sure. If not we'll have to find them elsewhere.

i ma afraid no luck.....but am i doing something wrong??? i unzip the intel810.exe file into the c:\unzipped\intel810\ section and then i go to the device manager and open the PCI Communications Device and click on re-install driver.....then i click on specify a loction and i point it to the c:\unzipped\intel810\ folder.....but it says unable to find driver for this device.....same thing for the connnexant.exe.....i didnt see and other files.....i alredy have the one for sound... am ui dong something wrong??
