After installing win95, these always show up in Device manager under other devices. and are always have an exclamation point with them. I have been looking for drivers; to no avail. I believe I can disable them with no problem??? The drivers are not on Intel site

You can obtain the Drivers off the Win95c (with USB support) CD or the Win98 CD. They are also available from Microsoft (www.microsoft.com). You can disable them if you don't use your Universal Serial Bus (you'll know if you do). Good Luck! :)

You actually need to download and install a PCI bridge .inf patch from the chipset manufacturer in order for Win95 to recognize the chipset.

For intel chipsets (TX,BX,EX, etc) go to:
http://developer.intel.com/design/chipsets/drivers/inf_update.htm

For VIA chipsets (Apollo, MVP, etc) go to:
http://www.via.com.tw/drivers/index.htm

For ALi chipsets (Alladin) go to:
http://www.ali.com.tw/eframes.htm

Good luck!

I have the same problem PCI bridge. Could this be the reason the sound card does not work. I have downloaded sound card drivers but they don't work. Do I need to fix the PCI bridge first to get the sound card to work? The computer has no motherboard cds -- just the windows 95 cd -- no sound card drivers either.

Mindy, I am having the same: PCI Bridge & USB support in system manager. I have no problems with my sound or video. I don't have any USB devices yet so I still don't know if it works or not.
But I think you should reload your sound drivers and check for any conflicks.
PS: your sound card isn't ISA is it?
