I use PC-Anywhere32 version 8.0
Normally when I dial in to the remote machine it logs onto the machine automatically usng the login name and password I set up.
Now I suddenly can't log onto the remote computer. It asks me for a login name, domain name and then a password.
In the past this only occured if two instances of PC-Anywhere were running you had to close all instances of PC-Anywhere and relaunch, simply rebooting the remote computer did not work. After closing and relaunching PC-Anywhere I was able to connect again without it asking for the login name, domain, and password.
Now, when the other party checks the machine I am trying to connect with they say that as far as they can tell only one instance of PC-Anywhere is running. Nevertheless I still can't dial in and I am using the right login name and password.
What could have happened? How do I fix? Especially when the other party is computer illiterate? It is not feasable for me to fly out to the other end of the US to troubleshoot the problem.
Has anybody had this happen to them? If so, how did you fix this?
