PC133 backwards compatible w/ PC100?

I have a laptop that runs off a 100mhz bus and I want to buy a 256mb stick for it on Ebay but the seller doesn't say whether it's PC100 or PC133 and the auction ends early in the morning, don't have the chance to question him. I know that sometimes PC133 is backwards compat. with PC100 but is it always?
Summary: PC133s are backward compatible with PC100 so you can mix them, but it's always good to have identical modules in most cases. =] Just my 2cents ...
