PC won't recognise New 80 Gig HD

The bios doesn't see it? You'll either need a bios upgrade, an add-on ATA card or use the drive overlay on the disk that came with the drive.
If the bios sees it but windows doesn't, that's usually because it needs to be partitioned before it gets assigned a drive letter. It won't show up in 'my computer' until it's parititioned.
You need to use the updated fdisk on that drive. It's available here:

try to check ur mobo manufacturer for bios upgrade.
