Is it possible to switch back to regular instead of running in dos.....very old pc

Are you saying that the machine will not boot to Windows 95 but goes straight to DOS?

Your definition and our definition of what
.....very old pc means, can be 2 different things. Surely you must know some statisics? DOS version? Is MSD (Microsoft Diagnostics Utility) on there?

I only saw OP said not sure and compaq. Didn't realize they said Win 95.

Forget DOS info. Not necessary.
