My computer recently was infected with a VBScript virus through an email. When i went to restart my computer, I hear the hard drive scanning but the floppy drive will not boot, the monitor will not come on, and the processer fan won't run. It looks to me the only power that works is the hard drive and cd rom. Any suggestions on how to recover from this?? THANKS!

I don't think a virus would affect your fans. But a virus may have changed settings in bios.
You can try and look in your bios and see if everything looks ok there. Make sure your bootup sequence is set up for A: drive first and then C:. Or just accept the default settings on your bios and save and reboot and see what happens.
