When posting messages in Computing.Net the password is listed in cookies and temporary internet files.
I want to clear my temporary files .
Will I be able to access Computing Net with just the cookies after temporary file are deleted?
I don’t know the listing in the Temp files as there is about 5,000 of them.

Thanks

Hi Jigger
Yes you will, but first delete your temp files, god the're massive.
I have logged on to Computing.Net from many machines and, in fact, have it as my home page.
Ok the next step, is just type in your username and then password, that's it!

yes. it is possible

always delete the temp internet files only this way:

open Intenet Explorer/Tools/Internet Options/General tab, click the Delete Files button and when the pop-up window appears checkmark "delete all offline content" and click OK.

Clearing the Temporary Internet Files will not affect your cookies and therefore will not affect your ability to enter Computing Net.

Use Jason Levine's Cookie Jar to manage your cookies. Grab a copy of Script Sentry while you are there.
Both are free, standalone and small programs.

Do also set your browser at IE Tools, Internet Options, Advanced and under the Security section place a check next to "Empty temporary internet files folder when browser is closed", Click Apply and Ok.

Regards,
Bryan

Dang, I't really hurt my arm when I fell outa my chair !! :) That was rather very funny!

Any how, Like most have mentioned already, jigger, even if you do delete all your cookies, all you have to do is go to the My Computing.Net page and type in your name and password to log in. It can be done from any computer with Internet access. My home computer deletes ALL my temp files and all my cookies on bootup. Logging in has never been an issue.
