Password-Protect Folders in Windows

Any1 got an idea for password-protecting folders in windows 98. I know it won't completely protect them and u can get in but the other ppl who use the machine don't know that much and a simple password login when the folder is clicked will work for them.
I tried puting a JavaScript login in folder.htt but didn't think far enuf ahead. when you enter the correct pw it takes you into the folder right? Well, that just calls the login again and again. That didn't work.

Do not know if this is what you are looking for but go to www.sysinternals.com and look in their WIN9x area and there is a utility that allows you to apply NTFS (NT file system) permissions in WIN9x.
Hope this helps...

What's the name of this flash proggie Topgun?
Yar not getting confused with NTFSDOS?
Righto - yar keep on that tack . . . towards the shoals.
File and folder encryption is probably the best method in 9x.
Check out Pretty Good Privacy
Yar lose time when decrypting an recrypting the file/folder - just be aware.
