Hi, I have windows 98se and i need a program that will ask for a password on startup. Like something that gives you the option to enter a password or shutdown.
Does this exist? I need to keep people off my PC

They have screen savers that you can set to come on, and then it will not allow anyone to get back to the desktop without entering a password. However, an easy work around that is to just reboot the PC and they're in!
If you are in need of security like your describing, consider getting off of 98 and installing NT, 2000, or XP, all of which allow you to force a log in with password, and also lock the workstation when you step away from it while it's still on.
