Password Protect Printing

How do I create a password prompt? I need to stop unauthorized printing. PLEASE HELP!

That is not absolutely true. You can assign a password to the printer share the same way as you assign it to folders. Firstly, under Network Neighborhod properties, install File and Printer sharing. Make sure you check off to share printer once you have it installed. After this go to Start > Settings > Printers and right-click on your printer and select sharing from the menu. Assign a password for it.

For more security, if you need it:-

I haven't tried this (never had to ;-)),
but what would happen if you created an encrypted holder (I use Scramdisk), put the printer driver in there, and specified a Path to the folder in Autoexec.bat.

Would the OS look for the driver in Windows/System, fail to find it, and then try the right place?
