Hi, On my Packerd Bell recovery CD is an ARJ-file wich contains files like: test.exe+ and test123.dll+ When I open the ARJ-file I see a ‘+” after exe, txt, dll: exe+, txt+ dll+. How can I compress a file with ARJ on this way? I want to compress the file “test123.exe” with ARJ to “test123.exe+” When I try that, I see “test123~.exe” and not “test123.exe+” when I open the file. I need to make a file exactly like a file in the ARJ file on the CD to crack the password quicker. Because my recovery CD doesn’t work on my newer not-Packard Bell computer I want to extract the password protected ARJ-file to install a game (Duke Nukem). Without the “+” the file is not the same.

Sorry,
I'am not a hacker. But I have a restore CD from my old Packard Bell computer. Now I have a newer computer (Compaq). I want to restore Duke Nukem on my Compaq, but I see the message: "This is not a Packard Bell system". The ARJ file on the CD is password protected. Can I find the password on the CD or the bootdisk from the CD?
I am working on this problem this weekend. I am expecting it my take me a week or two to do. i have spoke to packard dell and there techies are worst than useless, and so are PA (the people who make the disks). back soon
