Password on BIOS

I made a mistake when i tried to put Windows 98 on my harddrive. I ended up reformatting the hard drive. When I finally go it started up again it has a password and I dont know it. Can anyone tell me how to bypass it?

Or if you have or can get the specs for your motherboard, there should be a jumper to reset the BIOS.

if its a windows password del the file with pwl extension in c:\windows if in bios ,if award: Award_SW is the default password. Download IBIOS here (works with AMI/AWARD) http://www.11a.nu/ibios.htm info from- http://www.ping.be/bios/HTML1/faq.html#q17
