Password on BIOS

I made a mistake when i tried to put Windows 98 on my harddrive. I ended up reformatting the hard drive. When I finally go it started up again it has a password and I dont know it. Can anyone tell me how to bypass it?

Or if you have or can get the specs for your motherboard, there should be a jumper to reset the BIOS.
