Will my computer run faster or better partitioned? It has a 30 gig primary hard drive. If so what size would be good for win98se? Right now I am using 6.2gig.Would it be better to put programs on the partition with windows? Just curious I figured it might defrag and scandisk quicker on a partition and would have less to search on.

Differences in partitioning will make very little difference in speed. But there are important advantages in putting your programs in a separate partition. If you have to format the system drive you can save a lot of info that way. I use tweakui to put 'My Documents', 'Favorites' and my email on another partition also.
