Try Norton (Symantec) Disk Doctor. (NDD.EXE) For FAT16 Norton Utilities 6.0 will do you. I've recovered disk partitions using this on old machines. 486DX2, etc. Dan

You have to use the FIX-CIH.exe program located at http://grc.com/fix-cih.htm
it is specially made for the CIH virus.
you will get your files back but after that you will have to get rid of the virus because it will still be there
