How to build a Partition Magic
boot disk.Format a 1.44 floppy disk and choose
the option to "copy system files".
(must be done on a Windows 9x machine)
Then copy the Partition Magic files
listed below to that floppy.Partition Magic Files:
C:\Program Files\PowerQuest\PartitionMagic X.0\DOS
Mouse.com
Mouse.ini
Pmhelp.dat
Pqdata.002
Pqmagic.exe
Pqmagic.ovl
Pqmagic (it's a shortcut to DOS)
Pqmagic.pqg
Pqpb.rtc
zABOUT.PQGIf you don't have access to a 9x machine
down load a boot disk from:
http://www.bootdisk.com
and copy the system files listed below to
that floppy.Windows System Files:
Command.com
Drvspace.bin
Io.sys
Msdos.sysTo make life easy you need to create an
"autoexe.bat" file.
to do that, open "notepad" and copy
these strings:
@echo off
MOUSE.COM
echo Loading...
PQMAGIC.EXE
to it and "save as"
autoexe.bat
then copy that to your floppy. You now have a P.M. boot disk to
do all of your work from DOS.Serge A. Storms

Partition Magic uses 2 boot disks.
And all you have to do is have the Partition Magic program itself built the boot disks and it doesn't require using a Win 9X system to make them either.

Hello
