Friend of mine bought a factory reconditioned Agfa Snapscan 1212p scanner. Wanted me to install it on his 75MHz P-1 with w95. Well first the software cd they included wouldnt spin in his 8x cdrom. Other cds do fine. Note at this point with scanner plugged into parallel port and printer plugged into scanner, the printer would work. I transfered files over to 17 floppies (yuck). My 32x cdrom had no problem with the cd. Software loaded. Wouldnt recognize scanner although scanners self diagnostic flashing light said scanner ok. Well now printer would not work. I unplugged scanner from computer and plugged printer directly into computer. Computer will now not recognize printer. I uninstalled parallel port from device manager and then rebooted and let computer reinstall parallel port. Still nothing. Suggestions?
