Hey i have a problem with paint too! Whenever i click on the icon to open paint, a message pops up that says "The drive or network connection that the shortcut 'Paint.lnk' refers to is unavalible. Make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is avaliable, and then try again." CAN SOMEONE PLZ EMAIL ME ON WHAT THIS MEANS AND HOW I CAN GET MY PAINT TO START UP AGAIN??? I HAVE NO WINDOWS 98 CD TO REINSTALL IT!!!

Go to Start then Run, then type PBRUSH, you can also make a new shortcut on the desktop that points to C:\WINDOWS\PBRUSH.EXE!

Right click on My Computer to select "Explore", expand the directory to the below path to see if it is there or not.
"C:\Program Files\Accessories\MSPAINT.exe"
If not then Right click on My Computer to select "Find". Type in the top box MSPAINT.exe and set the lower box to search on C:
If it is not there or anywhere else, post back and I'll see if I can send you the 336kb file.

Go to control panel, then add/remove programs
click on Windows setup tab. Highlight accessories, then hit details, and see if paint is installed. If not, it might be able to get it from windows/options/cabs. Just a thought.......

I lost my paint and i can not find it anywjere i was wondering how i can get it back without my windows 98 disk

For future reference always post a new question on the board where someone will see it. You can always copy and paste the referenced posting by copying it from the address bar.
I do however give you much credit for having performed a search on the site before posting. It is rare that someone new will do this.
