Comment:

I am running Win98, with Outlook98 & Winfax SE (set to answer). My motherboard is an Abit BX6-2.

Outlook loads & starts Winfax ok, but if my machine drops into standby mode, once it wakes up I cannot use any Dial-up networking (Outlook, Winfax, IE) until I close the Outlook program that was active during the period of standby.

Any suggestions?

Check with Microsoft, Winfax and the motherboard's site to see if there is info on that problem, also check the readme's and help in the programs. Or don't use standby.
