Hi all,
I have a new problem. I use outlook express 6 and Micro*oft Outlook. I can connect to my hosted accounts but everytime I restart my PC I cannot access the accounts anymore becouse in the account settings (SERVER) where I have my server address POP orIMAP i.e.mail2.aschumann.de is always changed to "localhost" :(
and "username" is changed to "username/mail2.aschumann.de".

What is it? A virus doing this. Strange thing. Can anyone help me?

Hi, As far as the "LocalHost" the answer may be that you run Nortons AntiVirus.

Nortons does this in order to be able to access the email and scan the messages before passing the messages to Outlook Express.

This is usually only a problem if you have "Email Scanning" enabled and then exit or disable Nortons Anti Virus program.

The second part may or may not be a part of the same with regards to NAV

I have the same problem. I think Linux does it, maybe RedHat 9. I think it happens when you reboot to Windows after you have been in Linux.
