I have been using Outlook Express for home and business (same pc) for nearly 2 years now. I have a number of Identities and multiple folders. All of a sudden this week, I go an error in the exe and kicked out of OE. Now, when I try and launch it - the pc 'thinks' for a while and does nothing. I guess a file is corrupted but which one? Help!!!???

I have had similar problems in the past. The only way I have resolved the problem is by reinstalling it by dnloading the internet explorer sp1 which includes OExpress. If you do this YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR DATA. I recommend you goto C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Identities\{D3EFE680-ACC0-11D4-ACFA-0050BAB00D80}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
That is where outlook express keeps all your saved email. Copy all of this mail to another location and upon the reinstalation, copy it all back in there. You should be able to access all your old mail. To save your address book, goto C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book . In there is where your address book is kept. Again, copy those files and after installation of OE, replace the files with your original copies you made.

This process may NOT work, so only use it as a LAST resort! But I believe if you reinstall OE and then replace those files I said, you SHOULD recover everything. But please remember this is not garaunteed. I don't know how your system works and I am telling you what I have done in the past only once or twice.
