I deleted a large number of emails to my Deleted Items box - they have re-appeared in my inbox in triplicate. I haven't opened any emails so asssume it isn't a virus. Any ideas?

If you deleted them by clicking on them one by one, if you moved your cursor at all while clicking, Windows makes a COPY of the file in the same directory. That can happen anywhere in Windows.
