I'm trying to help someone, they want to use outlook express, and they have 2 pop3 email accounts. I have them set up to where they have to log off the identity and log on to the other and vice versa to get the emails (since u can't to my knowledge have 2 totally separate inboxes for local accounts).
I was wondering if there was a way to make a shortcut for each of these 2 identities so that opening the shortcut it automatically logs you into the profile? I'd guess that you'd have to add something (-???????? maybe) to the target line in the shortcut. If this isn't possible no biggie, was just kinda curious. Thanks for lookin!

Hi xxx
If you want separate mailboxes forthe two email accounts...you could try...setting up a message rule.
Choose "where the To line contains people"
and add the email address of the second mail account.
And then have those emails go to a separate folder that you will create...eg Inbox#2
In theory, then both email accounts will have their own "In" folders.
Inbox for one, and Inbox#2 for the other.Good luck

Hi.
Jennifer SUMN that didn't seem to work, unless I was doing sumthin wrong. I tried doing that in a couple different spots in the shortcut properties, and with and w/o the quotation marks around the identity name, but no luck. Thx for the idea though.
krysdem I'll check and see if that will work for them, I didn't think of that.
Thx guys (and gals)
