Outlook Express Hangs

Downloaded Email this morning followed by a warning that a Email contained a virus. Outlook Express then hung. Application continues to hang, even following a reboot. Running Win98 SE on P3. Any ideas

If you got a warning then use your anti-virus to get rid of the virus.

First update your anti virus to the latest definitions, if you do not have an anti virus, search for InoculateIT. It is a very good free anti virus, make sure you get all the updates. Then run a full virus scan. Follow all further instructions for the particular virus that you have. Once the virus is removed completely the correct way, outlook express will probably be ok. If it is not, then post back. You MUST get all the virus out first. The Inoculate Site will have instructions for your particular virus, otherwise go to www.symantec.com and check their site on how to get rid of your particular virus.
