Recently, I have been getting an error about not having enough memory to open the C:\program files \ Microsoft Office \ Office \ OSA.exe file at start up. I haven't installed any new programs recently, I am running Windows 98 and Microsoft Office 2000, I have 128 Meg of RAM and windows automatically determines the size of my virtual memory so I don't know how it could be an actual memory problem. The shortcut for "Office Startup" in my start up menu points to this application, but I don't know if this is a necessary file in the start menu since I don't have Microsoft office automatically start when I boot. Can anyone help me with this or has anyone else had a similar problem? Thanks a lot!

Run a scandisk and choose thorough scan and fix all error automatically should be checked then run a defragment on your drive.

Are you install the fast start up office? if is this case you can delete the shortcut in the start up menu into programs. good luck regards

i got this virus at c:/program files/Microsoft Office/ Office/OSA.EXE it sais the file has been changed, and that the program contains a Ms-Windows or os/2 exe. header ... last but not least, i cant erase the file so as to get rid of the virus because it sais its being used at the moment, which i dont think its true. well then id be grateful if you could tell me WHAT to do, as I am very worried and need my pc in conditions as soon as possible. thanks, in advance, for any answer i receive to deal with this.
