Hi,

Hard Disk Copy ( HDCOPY) gets some quite good reviews:-

I've not used it though.

XXCOPY, a Versatile File Management Utility is previously recommended by someone around here, cann't remember who it was. Sorry!

It looks promessing!

"...can both HDs be on the same ribbion to do the swap..."
Yes, just remember to setup them up as master-slave, on the drives and in your BIOS.

Hope this helps.

Hi..

You can use Ghost utility to transfer u r small HD data to Big HD. it copies u r hard disk to hard disk sector to sector wise and make the exact mirror copy. copy the ghost.exe file in u r bootable floppy, connect both u r hard disk to system boot from floppy run ghost select source hd and destination hd. thats all u have to do.

U r big hd becomes mirror copy of small hd and all settings of u r fire wall and documents remain same.

u can down load ghost.exe file from net at free of cost.

Although Ghost will do the job, it is not freeware.

Follow The Count's advice & use xxcopy
