Hi,

I am doing a project on the different languages different operating systems (UNIX, Windows, OS/2) use. I would like some history and some info on how they communicate with each other if they are written in differnet languages.

OSes use a standard networking protocol to work together. lingos understand standard protocols as well like HTML. A browers in any language will understand it.
