My pc NEC PowerMate Enterprise When i start the computer "operating system not found" after restart the computer, windows can run.. i already change the battery, system the h/disk by Windows startup disk (boot disk), reinstall the windows 9x, also format the h/disk .. same problem... can anybody help me??

Check your Bios setup by press the Del as I can see you did all the checking, all I can say your hard drive is no good, if you reformat and it didn't work. If you have another computer test the hard drive.

I had a friends computer that was doing exactly the same, it took us ages to find out that it was the hard drive taking a long time to spin up to the proper operating speed, it was quite old. Try your hard drive in someone elses machine, if you get the same problem, time to spend the old pocket money.
