opening multiple windows in ie6

I cannot open multiple windows in ie 6 now it just opens and then does nothing also the window is see thru ie see the contents of the window behind. I have just installed a couple of yahoo chat clients but have now un installed them...basically it wont open web pages that automatically open a seperate window also
any ideas please i have tried uninstalling ie 6 but no luck thanks
Defenately not an IE6 issue. I open any number of windows with no problem - also windows of the same site. When I allow pop-ups they are OK as well. Could it be your ISP software or your bandwidth?
