Only 16 colours...need 256

I have Windows98, but I only have a choice of 2 and 16 colours.
I was told I need to download drivers etc for things, but im really not sure what.
Heres my computers details, could some one possibly point me in the right direction?

Plenty of info - unfortunately, none of that has much bearing on your need for a specific video driver.

The idea hasn't changed much since Windows 3.1 - you identify your actual display adapter make & model then locate & install the driver appropriate to your OS

Most of those hardware analyzers (such as Belarc) won't ID hardware correctly unless the driver has already been installed

Yep, that right there's your killer. Windows didn't have the specific driver for your video card, so you'll need to figure it out (use Everest like jboy stated) and you can likely find it at Driversguide.com.

if u can't find u'r driver, try using driver detective. it may help u.
