Sure - but it won't work. Win95 (any version) doesn't support add-in USB

The PC Bios MUST support USB for Windows95 and on to recognise a add-in card.............

W95 USB Support is only in OSR2.xx versions

From that venerable link:

Adding USB Ports

USB upgrade cards are NOT supported by Win95 any version. Therefore this option is not available to systems running the Win95 Operating System.

While I don't know it for a fact, that site has been the definitive Win95 USB page for donkey's years now.

If USB support is built into the BIOS, that generally means USB ports are as well. As a rule, the BIOS has little to do with addins (other than AGP)

If this is a computer that you need to use, or you are just trying to learn about it, then you need to ID the motherboard. I think your board use 168 pin dimms, if you can get a 64mb stick for under $10, and can get a hold of a 98se CD you would increase your options. The key to doing this, is to research, and learn all you can about this PC. Google is a good place to start. Here is an example of what can go wrong

have you removed the case yet?

... he shows no sign of returning (maybe you should email him?)

At any rate, that linked post appears to be more of a success story than a cautionary tale, 'fahylarry'

I'm not one of those who think Bill Gates is the devil. I simply suspect that if Microsoft ever met up with the devil, it wouldn't need an interpreter
