Reply: (edit)Sure - but it won't work. Win95 (any version) doesn't support add-in USB ... the interests and rights of some individuals take precedence over the interests and rights of others

Reply: (edit)From that venerable link: Adding USB PortsUSB upgrade cards are NOT supported by Win95 any version. Therefore this option is not available to systems running the Win95 Operating System. While I don't know it for a fact, that site has been the definitive Win95 USB page for donkey's years now. If USB support is built into the BIOS, that generally means USB ports are as well. As a rule, the BIOS has little to do with addins (other than AGP) ... the interests and rights of some individuals take precedence over the interests and rights of others

Reply: (edit)If this is a computer that you need to use, or you are just trying to learn about it, then you need to ID the motherboard. I think your board use 168 pin dimms, if you can get a 64mb stick for under $10, and can get a hold of a 98se CD you would increase your options. The key to doing this, is to research, and learn all you can about this PC. Google is a good place to start. Here is an example of what can go wrong http://www.computing.net/hardware/w... have you removed the case yet? larry

Reply: (edit)... he shows no sign of returning (maybe you should email him?) At any rate, that linked post appears to be more of a success story than a cautionary tale, 'fahylarry' I'm not one of those who think Bill Gates is the devil. I simply suspect that if Microsoft ever met up with the devil, it wouldn't need an interpreter
