Comment:
I have a nice little chinese-made machine with no identifying marks. I need to find drivers for the on-board devices such as sound, USB, serial port, etc. All I have to ID the machine is the MOBO: ABIT-VH6T. Since I have no model number, how do I find a driver for the sound card? Or could I just use a config tool like Everest or AIDA32?

You should try the Hyperion 4-in-1 for the VIA chip sets here

http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?PageID=420&OSID=1&CatID=1070

Scroll down to the lower part of the window.

Hi, If all else fails try to get the Maker's name and number off the Audio chip on the MB. It is usually at the back of the board near the audio jacks. You should be able to download from their site. If not, try driversguide.com

Good Luck, Jim
