Hi All.. Already had this problem few months ago and never be able to fix it. Now it’s the same problem with another station. Office 2000 (word and powerpoint) installed on win2000 pro sp4 or Win XP Pro takes much more time to open documents and the computer get very slow for no reasons.
Already try the repair and reinstalling office but it didn’t fix my problem, nothing special in process in task manager, and I don’t think it’s a findfast problem. Any idea? thx

I don't know if this has been brought up before, but is it possible that your Anti Virus software is doing a "Scan On Open" task across a network connection. I've seen this slow down Office Suite products (most notably PowerPoint) in the past.
