Hello,
After I install the SR1a for OF2000 all of the offices programs open and close right after opened. Someone to help?

I may not be a bunch of help on this one but if you go into the hkey_current_user in the registry and delete the user settings for office it may fix your problem.

I'm sure you have a proper registered version of Office 2000. But as info for others, I have heard from good authority that installing SR1 on versions which are unregistered causes them to stop functioning after 30 goes. This is not a joke.

You are using a pirate copy of Office 2000. Your product key will start with GC6J3.
Go to regedit and modify the key setting to "OldProductID" (without the quotes)

Tried to add old product id as suggested by matt on 30 sep 2000, but the modification is not accepted. Cannot modify, it says, contains illegal characters. Any way out?
