I have a user who uses OE from home and Outlook XP from work. She complains that her sent items folder at home does not match her sent items at work. How does the server know which mail client is the default one and which to replicate with. In other words, why arent her sent items the same in both, is OE deleting items off the server remotely? Thanks, im so lost.

When an email is sent from one of the computers, it is being sent from ONLY that computer, not both. The "sent items" folder contains email that is sent from that system, the mail server doesn't update the other system.
