This problem is a little hard to explain...so I've posted a screenshot at: http://scf.usc.edu/~chenss/rage.gif

Basically, I've been having these weird lines appear on my screen...they disappear randomly, reappear, etc. It gets worse when I go into 32bit color mode, and better in 16bit color.

I have an Nvidia GeForce3 Ti200, as well as the latest drivers (both for the video card, and Direct X 9.0).

Does anybody know what is happening? If so, please send an e-mail to BustABucket@hotmail.com.

Thanks

looks like your video card's memory might be shot. There are various diagnostic programs out there, ami diag is nice and you can download a trial at http://www.amidiag.com/support/dl.cfm

Give that a try, and test your video card's memory. See what it says.

Go to My Computer/right click Properties/Performance/Graphics button.

Try lowering your hardware acceleration one notch at a time.
