Odd add-on board

Went to local swap meet yesterday. Found a vendor selling add-on boards at $1 each. One board in bucket had zero plug connections, or outlets. Had prongs like it looked to go in to a PCI slot on motherboard, and was held in via screw at the case, but then?


Vendor did not know but what was original purpose of this board then?

You'd probably need to google any possible relevent info on the card--chips, model #, etc.

There are literally tens of thousands of add-on cards. Without some FCC ID or other info, it'd be impossible to speculate...
