Since OAK went out of business on 3/31/98, there are no new drivers. The drivers for this chipset are included on the Windows CD as Oak Super VGA. They are limited to 256 maximum, and there are no upgrades.
If you register at http://www.driverguide.com
(free) you may be able to find drivers from other users.Hope this helps.

A person who built me a computer talked me into an upgrade. I got a bigger mother board an he installed Win98 (I was running Win95 on the older computer). He used all the old parts from the old computer including the Super vga video card.
I now have a problem with my color pallate. When I boot up I'm prompted to change the settings from 16 colors to 256 colors and then to restart the computer. I've done this several times with no success as every time I restart it,the same message appears.
I've been told by a friend that I need to istall a new driver or to re-install the old driver.
While trying to find a driver on the net I started to get the idea that the Super VGA was ment to be used with Win95 only, and not Win98.
I am not fimiliar with the workings of a computer system, I would just like mine to work properly so that I can use my programs that require 256 colors.
If there is anything that you can do to help me I would appreciate it if you would.
I'm not sure as to how I would be able to pay you back. I'm not comfortable with giving out any of my finfancial information like my credit card number, but I have worked in various areas of construction and could try to help you with any questions you may have concerning renovatons or construction. I have aquired one journeyman ticket in painting and I'm a 3rd year apprentice in the insulating trade at the moment.Thank you for your time
Wayne PehrsonP.S. I was not asked for any kind of membership information to get to the page "Subject: oak 087" and I did not see a form to fill out to become one.
