I have been seeing a few probs with nvdia tnt2 64 on here so I did a search with (nvdia tnt 64) @ google and it seems there are other users from different forums having problems with nvdia graphics cards. I've got a nvdia Tnt2 64 with 16m video ram and I have a s--- load of problems. 1 mpgs(If I run consecutive mpg's I get an error and media player wont run after that until I reboot). 2 animated slides in power point( my pc freezes during a presentation or at the end of it and I have to reboot). 3 My mouse icon turns into a square with red and yellow pixels (about an inch squared)on occasion. 4 I run directx diagnostic tool in system tools/system info/directx diagnostic tool. And I begin the display tests and it screws up as in number 3 above. So if any1 has any suggestions. Lay it on me. I would just like to say nvdia sux and if your on the market for a graphix card dont get nvdia. Finally does any know the manufacturers website so I can rip into their asses. Heres my spex 566 celeron@66hz 128m ram I have direct x 7, I have no idea what its for.
Hi Kerryea. I have an Nvidia Riva tnt2 and had lots of problems until I downloaded the 533aw9x video driver from the Asus site at http://www.asus.com/Products/Motherboard/driver_vga.html I agree with you. It sucks! I only got it because it was suppose to be one of the best, but a lot of other people have had problems as well. The 533aw9x fixed everything, but seems a wee bit slower, which is probably why it works for this inferior card. Hope this driver will help you. If you can't find it, e-mail me and I'll send you the zipped file that I originally downloaded. Tom

I have a question concerning the nvdia card. I recently purchased a game Road To Eldorado and it will not launch because, I feel, that I do not have the Nvidia graphics card. I went to their site and found it FOR SALE or words to that effect. My question is this, do I have to have that card in order to play this game? I am a novice to the game world and my question may seem silly but I want to know befoe I invest money on a card that may be more trouble than it's woth. It seems like a nice game but I don't want to mess up my system for one game.
Summary: Could someone please suggest a good graphic card for me? I have: PIII/256; the mainboard still has free PCI slots and a AGP4X Pro slot (now I'm using onboard VGA). I don't play games, but have a TV ca...
Summary: Hi Nesto. Of course Voodoo5 better. But I'm not recommend you to buy card based on one of this chips. NVidia in the nearest future will start to produce and sell new low-cost, but very powerful chip c...
