Make sure there is no floppy disk in the floppy drive.
Boot with a 98SE bootdisk and at the A:\> prompt, type in;
sys c:
If this doesn't work, boot with the bootdisk again and at the A:\> prompt type in;
fdisk/mbr
Post back with your results.

Something not right here. NTLDR has no relevance to Windows 98 unless you are running a dual boot system with Windows 2000/XP.
NTLDR only applies to Windows NT/2000/XP. Have you at some time attempted and aborted a Windows XP installation?
If that is the case, the fdisk/mbr should fix it.

Hi to all! I've just had the same problem with NTLDR missing, I downloaded Service Pack 2 and I cannot reboot the pc anymore, not even from the DVD, to reformat all. I get the NTLDR message. I'm stuck. Can anyone help? Thanks!
