NTKERN.VXD Problem

Hi, when I load up the Device Manager in System Properties, I see that under System Devices -> Processor Support there is an explamation Mark. I've opened this and it says The NTKERN.VXD Device loader(s) for this devicecould not load the device drive. I've tried to update this driver but even after usign the Microsoft Windows update and the Windows 98 CD it can't find the device. Any thoughts? Thanks
