Hello
I have Windows98 installed on C: drive. Then using the Drive converter I converted the drive to FAT32.Now I want to install WindowsNT server on D: drive. But the installation procedure is unable to identify the disk prepared during dos installation. For this I may have to reset my C: drive to FAT as I want to have dual boot system.
How can I revert back my C: drive to state when no DriveConverter tool was run.
Is it possible to achieve the above without loosing the existing data on C: drive?
When I install WindowsNT in this situation do I need to convert the D: drive to NTFS or let it have FAT only?
Thanks

Try using 'Partition Magic' software.

It is not necessary to convert d: to NTFS unless u want to take advantage of its special features. But then it will be unaccessible in win95/98

Yes, you need to convert to FAT. Win98 can't
dualboot with FAT32. Use third party softwa
re to convert it back to FAT. Try Partitian
Magic and Magicboot (PowerQuest product). I
meant Win98 can't dualboot with NT using FAT
32. Good luck

Since you are going to have NT and 98 on the same HD you shouldn´t convert the D drive to NTFS.. Win 98 doesn´t read on NTFS..
Though i have no idea wether you can revert the C-drive to FAT without loosing the data..

Good Luck!
