Thank you all for replying! Yes, you seem to be right about the power supply. I can hear the fan fluctuate faster and slower. Also it does have onboard sound and I got Win to recognize it but I am having trouble with installing the driver. I am wondering how to find out what kind of driver it uses, same for my net card. Any ideas? Well, I'm sure you know already huh? I could really use the net and sound on that piece of crap! LOL, thanks a lot for your responses once again!

The drivers for on-board devices would be on the motherboard manufacturer's site. If the NIC is a separate card the best thing to do would be to open the case and get a model # and manufacturer and do a search based on that info.

If you have managed to get a basic wiindows installation in - albeit no sound cdrivers/NIC etc, but at least a working OS, then you could use Belarc Advisor or Aida32 to scan the system as is; both generate a report that list details of what's in there (hardware/software etc.).
Having used both, I'm more than impressed with the depth/detail Aida32 produces... - sems to be more detailed than Belarc?
Belarc.com
- for Belarc Advisor;
http://www.aida32.hu/aida32.php
- for Aida32; there are actually two versions aida16 and aida32; I use aida32.
