G'day all,
i'm havin a few probs installing the novel client on a machine here at workb the machine is a p120 running win 98, what we have been doing is, goin into network properties, then adding the microsoft client for netware, then rebooting, this lets uss access a netware server. then we connect to the server and run the client setup program.
setup goes thru fine, then when we reboot, it all appears to be working fine, but before the login screen appears we get the following message:NETWARE ALERT.
Psuedo module print did not free one or more resources before being destroyedwe press the ctrl + enter to clear it and then we get
module c:\novell\client32\client32.nlm did not remain resident....
Press anykey to continue.do u have any ideas on how to recify these messages
any help would be appreaciated....
ya can e-mail me direct at stavros23q@hotmail.com

Try having the microsoft client, copy the setup files for the novell client from the server to the Hard Drive. Remove the Microsoft Netware client, reboot the computer then when it comes up install the novell client.
If this does not work make sure that the file giving you the error exists.
Let me know how you get on.
Peter

Peter,
thanx for replying mate,
i did what u suggested and this worked fine!
thankyou mate!
i work at the dept of edu and training in Australia and currently everyschool in da state is putting the novell client on their machines , have seen some really strange error messages, i had already been getting some of them to download the install file off the net and then install it from a local drive rather than a network one.
installing from a local source seems to do the trick in all cases!
thanks again!!!
